Have you ever felt a longing you could not explain?
Not for a place, not for a person. For something deeper.
As if the heart remembered a melody that the mind no longer recognizes.
As time passes, we learn the language of the world.
We adopt roles, beliefs, and stories.
We learn who we are supposed to be.
The feeling of longing that we cannot explain is in the source of my creativity.
My paintings are an attempt to capture a memory that reminds us that we are part of the Universe.
My name is Klaudia Anika, and I was born in 1995.
I am fascinated by the space between what is visible and invisible, as well as that special moment when a person stops analyzing life and truly begins to feel it.
The children appearing in my paintings are symbols of a state of consciousness. They remind us of the part of ourselves that has not yet separated from the world and that looks upon it without masks.
I believe that our journey is not about becoming someone new, but rather about receiving that simplicity.
It is a return to the heart that is capable of wonder, because that is where the Light begins.
